Risiti — Case Study by Bankole David

Full Stack

Risiti

Market receipts become on-chain credit. Credit for traders with zero on-chain history: sell, confirm, co-sign, and unlock a zero-interest community advance.

Risiti

role — full-stack developer: authored the Solidity contracts (RisitiRegistry, RisitiPool, AttestcoinVerifier), integrated the BlockProver precompile, built the five-tab React app, and deployed the testnet stack.

stack — React · TypeScript · Solidity · wagmi · Creditcoin

the problem

Traders in informal markets across Africa are frozen out of microcredit because they have zero on-chain history. Banks and DeFi protocols can't price their credit, so a tomato seller can't get a 7-day advance to restock, even with years of steady business.

what i built

*Risiti* is Swahili for *receipt*. Built a Web3 app where a market sale itself becomes credit: seller opens a receipt, buyer taps confirm, a neighbour co-signs, and standing unlocks a zero-interest community advance. Supplier restocks paid on Sepolia are proven on Creditcoin via the Attestcoin Protocol, so even no-crypto traders build verifiable on-chain standing.

  • Receipt issuance with WhatsApp-shareable 6-letter confirm codes
  • Market directory across Mile 12, Onitsha, Kano, Kibera, Makola
  • Standing scores (300–900) and zero-interest community advances
  • Verified restock proof via the Attestcoin Protocol
  • No-phone flow with third-party confirmation
  • Quarantined demo rail vs. on-chain try-it rail

tools, and why

React + Vite for a fast, offline-capable mobile app that keeps selling in low-connectivity markets. TypeScript across the wagmi/viem chain layer. Solidity on Creditcoin testnet for the registry, pool, and verifier. @gluwa/usc-sdk for a precompile ABI verified against real node_modules, never guessed.

the hard part

Designing a credit system honest enough to resist wash-trading and self-dealing without any bank infrastructure. Solved with witness rules, max-3-counted-sales per counterparty, replay-proof guards, and small short advances that cost attackers more to grind than they ever earn.

outcome

A working DeFi + RWA submission for BUIDL CTC 2026 Fall on Creditcoin proving credit can be manufactured from an ordinary tomato sale, live on testnet at zero operating cost.
